راصد الإخباري -
As part of the strategic partnership between Orange Jordan and the Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC), the Orange Digital Center’s Coding Academy, in cooperation with JoPACC’s FinTech incubator "JOIN,” hosted specialized introductory sessions in FinTech for its students. The sessions aimed to foster the integration between the digital and FinTech domains while enhancing the skills of Jordanian talent and preparing them for the future labor market.
The sessions, held in Amman and Irbid governorates, included training on fundamental principles and theories of FinTech, financial sector infrastructure, payment systems, and banking concepts in Jordan. Furthermore, the training targeted participants in the current phase of the Coding Academy program, which was launched in partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) to bridge the gap between youth’s technical skills and their job readiness.
Orange Jordan has commended the partnership with JoPACC is based on a shared vision to unlock new horizons for ambitious youth in the FinTech ecosystem and facilitate their access to opportunities. The company also affirmed that the Academy’s "Training for Employment” mission serves as the primary driver of its growing efforts to empower youth and build a rising generation capable of contributing to the Kingdom’s digital economy. It added that since 2019, the Academy has achieved impressive results, graduating over 1,000 students with an 80% employment rate.
It is worth mentioning that in cooperation with its youth outreach partner, CPF, the Coding Academy will provide training for 370 youth across the Kingdom over three years, aiming to better prepare them for the job market and equip them with the technical skills required to actively participate in the digital economic development.
