The Orange Digital Center announced the kickoff of the fifth edition of the Orange Summer Challenge 2026 (OSC26), under the theme "AI as a Business Accelerator”. This season aims to connect talented youth and startups with real-world challenges and transform creative ideas into tangible projects with a positive impact on society by addressing community needs.
The challenge brings together startups, innovators, college students, and recent graduates in multidisciplinary teams to develop and test smart solutions addressing Orange services, such as Orange Money, Orange Energy, and Max it, with support from Orange Digital Center, company employees, and international partners.
This initiative serves as a key driver of success, as it provides technical and business mentoring as well as access to industry experts and opportunities to strengthen participants’ market presence while deploying and scaling their solutions.
Orange Jordan affirmed that the program reflects its position as a trusted digital partner and comes as part of its efforts to shape the digital landscape in the Kingdom by playing a role in accelerating the development of market-ready technical solutions with meaningful impact and growth potential. This stems from the company's core beliefs, highlighting that true innovation keeps pace with actual market demands. Through this challenge, young talents come together with the company's expertise to create smart solutions that open new horizons for employment, entrepreneurship, and Jordan’s digital transformation.
It is noteworthy that the Orange Summer Challenge is an annual competition that begins at a regional level between teams representing 14 countries in the Middle East and Africa region. The journey starts with a comprehensive three-month training and mentorship program within a supportive ecosystem from the Orange Digital Center, after which three startups from each country qualify to compete on an international level. Winning projects are awarded valuable financial grants to support their business growth, in addition to gaining visibility and benefiting from advanced support by Orange Fabrication Lab.
